Barn in full... 6 Cottages - Six charming holiday cottages converted from a former model farm buildings at Sleightholmedale Lodge, a 19th Century country house, in a little known and unspoilt area of beautiful countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. This conversion has been praised in 'Country Living magazine, the 'New York Times' Travel Section, and other papers and magazines.Each cottage has a fully-fitted, very well equipped modern kitchen and is pleasantly furnished throughout. All the sitting rooms are well heated with gas fires, but in three there is the added advantage of an open fire.Sleightholmedale provides the ideal base from which to explore the North Yorkshire Moors. You can visit York, Helmsley, close toby Rievaulx Abbey and coastal resorts such as Scarborough and Whitby. Or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings, taking an occasional stroll around Sleightholmedale's magnificent garden, perhaps rambling down to the beck and up onto the moors.. Facilities at Barn...
