Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Sudbury and Saffron Walden are all about 25 minutes drive, whilst Long Melford and Lavenham are a little further. The owners house is adjacent to the cottage. An 18 hole golf course lies to the SW of the property, the club house is approximately 800 metres away. Walking, riding and antique hunting are all within easy reach and interesting walks to the Stour Valley on your doorstep.
